These incredible photos of a baby panther chameleon (Furcifer pardalis) that doesn’t know it was born, give us a unique insight into what these beautiful reptiles look like while still in the egg. Canvas Chameleon, a pet store in Reading, Pennsylvania, explained that this baby chameleon had to be helped out of its egg because it had not been able to hatch properly on its own.
“Here’s a baby chameleon just seconds old who didn’t realize he had already hatched.”
“I had to help him come out of the egg. I didn’t think I would have been able to do it alone as I was showing some problems trying to get out. ”
“If the egg breaks on the side for some reason, it may be difficult for the little one to push out as his head is not near the hole.”
“I felt it was necessary to play mother nature and give this little one a hand”
The chameleon is now safe and comfortable with the rest of his brothers and sisters!
