Have you ever seen these adorable little hairy animals? These are the Japanese flying squirrels, tiny mammals capable of soaring from branch to branch thanks to a furred membrane (patagium) located between the front and rear legs. Even Though they do not fly, these pretty mammals can soar a distance of 100 meters. This amazing ability allows them to escape from predators or, simply, to reach other branches. Check out this series of photos, aren’t they amazing?
