Homeless Dog Is Desperate For Shelter, Finds Safety And Comfort With Baby Jesus In A Nativity Scene

It is hard to know how many dogs are living on the streets currently, but according to recent statistics by the ASPCA, there are about 4 million stray dogs just in the US alone. Due to the temperatures dropping significantly during this time of the year, many dogs are in serious danger. Unluckily, there’s not much these dogs can do to stay warm on the streets.

Stray dogs are helplessly looking for warm places to protect themselves against the cold. That’s what the poor puppy in the pictures below did when he decided to use a Christmas nativity scene as protection. Curled up against baby Jesus, the German Shepard didn’t go unrealized. It happened in the city of Santa Catarina, in Brazil and everyone was speechless by this scene that perfectly describes the Christmas spirit.

The inspiring sight made lots of people come by. Although there is still unclear that it may be true, there have been a lot of rumors online saying that someone in the crowd decided to adopt the poor dog and offer him a safe, warm, forever home. For how amazing they are, each and every dog deserves to be loved. Let’s hope this German Shepard has a happy place he can call home and a loving family that makes sure all his needs are being met.
