It’s not easy living in a park or a zoo where all creatures belong to different species and it’s so hard to find a friend. However, after so many tries, a Siberian bear cub named Tallulah and a German shepherd named Kayden have found one another at last.
Talullah was the youngest resident of Bailiwick Animal Park, Catskill, New York back then. This park is home to mainly rescued animals, so it is nothing new that countless members of the park live there without a family. And so did Tallulah. The little brown bear was brought to Bailiwick Animal Park when she was just a baby and she had spent the first four months of her life without someone accompanying her.
Being young and energetic, Tallulah sometimes tried hard to make friends with everyone around her, but it was all for nothing. The baby girl had no one to turn to, until Kayden came into her life. And their bond improved beautifully right at their first meeting.
Kayden was already two years old when he first met Tallulah. Being the only dog of the sanctuary, Kayden helplessly searched for a companion who should be as energetic and active as he was. And when the dog saw the baby bear playing on her own, he immediately knew he had found exactly what he’d been looking for.
The only problem was, Tallulah had no interest in Kayden’s favorite activities, including swimming, playing fetch or messing up his creaky toy. However, just when Kayden ran out of ideas and wanted to give up, Tallulah showed him that things could be so much easier than he imagined. There was no need to complicate the process, they could just be themselves to have fun with each other.
Tallulah and Kayden have been best friends since then and nothing could ever change their friendship. Just take a look at the unusual yet lovely duo:
