A British wildlife artist captured unique footage with hidden surveillance cameras, a baby barn owl reacting to thunder for the first time.
This barn owl chick has never heard the sound of thunder before. At just two and a half months old the young owl is only just learning about the world when a witnessing thunderstorm passes overhead.
Watch its reaction as the sky is ripped apart by a roar of thunder and accompanying flash of lightening.
According to Fuller, the owl chick just took its first flight two weeks earlier and was still using the nest where he had hidden the camera.
Fuller, who lives in Thixendale, North Yorkshire, films owl behavior to observe them for his wildlife paintings.
