Attention-seeking Cow Can’t Stop Until She Gets Her Daily Hug

A cow has won the heart of her adoptive father for her tender and sweet personality. Although there are many things that are said about these animals, few people know that they are very sociable beings, that they enjoy body contact and that due to their peaceful nature, they allow people to approach them easily.

Of course, some are much more emotional and our protagonist is one of them, a cow that overflows with love and always seeks attention.

A sweet cow always asks her father for hugs.

It is about a cow that was rescued when she was only three days old, Ryan Phillips and his fiancee Mallory Sherman, took Jenna, the cow, when she was just a calf.

To the couple she was one like a giant baby that could barely fit in the back of their truck. Over time, the cow grew healthy and strong until it reached its current weight, about 450 kilos.

From day one she revealed her tender personality.

However, although she is no longer a calf, Jenna continues to act like a small animal that needs all the attention and pampering of her parents. She loves being caressed and being the center of attention, the cow overflows with love and her adoptive parents can only feed her tenderness by giving her all the attention she asks for.

The cow constantly demands hugs, no matter what the weather or what her father is doing, Jenna looks for a way to get her daily dose of hugs.

“Fortunately she is so cute that we are happy to always give in to her demands,” Ryan said.

This sweet cow was born with a twin brother. Unfortunately, this resulted in her being born with a genetic abnormality known in science as Freemartin, that is, a sterile cow conceived in a multiple gestation involving individuals of both sexes. Besides being sterile, they don’t produce milk, so the dairy industry got rid of Jenna.

Regardless of the weather or time, she will always be looking for her daily dose of hugs.

That was how it came to the lives of Ryan and Mallory, who from a moment felt that it was a very special cow and did not hesitate to rescue her. In this regard, Ryan commented:

“Jenna’s personality has always been as full and vibrant as it is today. Since I spent 24 hours a day with her, I think she thought she was another human and has that attitude that whatever she wants to do, she can do it with me. “

From the first day, this sweet cow reflected her tender personality, she is always looking for affection and all the attention of her parents. There is not a day that Jenna goes by without receiving her hug.

“She finds us at any window in the house and mooes endlessly until we walk out, give her a hug and scratch her or run around the yard,” Ryan said.

For Jenna there is nothing more important than receiving her daily hugs, regardless of her size and how old she is, she looks for a way to continue enjoying what makes her so happy.

“One of her favorite things from the beginning has been putting her head against my leg and pushing her while I wrap my arms around her neck and scratch her. That’s her way of cuddling, sometimes it lasts 20 minutes when she needs to be this version of a loving cow, ”Ryan noted.

When Jenna isn’t looking for hugs, she runs into her foster sister Maisie, another cow adopted by Ryan and Mallory. Together they are the most spoiled little animals at Life With Pigs Farm Animal Sanctuary.

The couple emphasizes that although at first it seemed strange to receive kisses from a cow, now they enjoy it and are grateful for having such affectionate little animals. Ryan said:

“It has tongues that are a bit like that of cats, but they are huge and much more forceful. It is quite hard, but you learn to love her because it is her way of expressing that you are part of the pack. “

Jenna is a bit picky about her hugs but she has amazing parents who are always willing to make her feel special and loved. I wish the world had this version of a loving cow, maybe the animals would not suffer so much.

For this cow there are no limits when it comes to showing love, how much we have to learn from these noble animals.
